Movement supports your toddler's growing physical awareness and excitement about the world. On the Move! provides the perfect opportunity for you and your toddler to experience the fun of moving together!

Physical activity builds the foundation for the life-long development of:

Children ages 18 - 36 months of all abilities are welcome. The classes are flexible to meet the needs of each individual child.

Our instructors are Cindy Clark OTR and/or Jennifer Olenwine, OTR, occupational therapists with more than 35 years of combined experience in helping young children develop to their fullest potential.

Music Therapy

Music therapy provides a variety of unique musical experiences that can change children's behavior and facilitate the development of communication, attention, social awareness, and cognitive and motor skills. William "Sandy" Pryor MA, MT-BC is a board certified music therapist with several years of experience in working with children with a variety of challenges including autism and ADHD. He believes that music is a ideal vehicle for engaging children and focusing on their strengths and abilities.

Handwriting

Help your child develop confidence and a positive attitude about handwriting! Through the use of fun games, core and hand strengthening, and kinesthetic exercises, your child will gain:
    letter formation/recognition
    strength and coordination
    fine motor precision.

The handwriting class will be taught by Jennifer Covillo OTR, and Shelby Young, OTR, both very experienced occupational therapists specializing in children's development.

On the Move! Classes

On the Move! classes meet one hour a week for a 4 week session..Classes are held on Tuesdays from 10:15-11:15 in our Highlands neighborhood office.

The cost for each session is $60. The cost for siblings is $40 and siblings under 8 months of age are free. Please make other arrangements for siblings over 36 months of age.

Music Therapy Classes

Music Therapy classes meet once a week for a 3-week session. Classes are 45 minutes and are available for preschoolers and grade school children. The cost is $90 for all 3 sessions.

Handwriting Classes

Classes are 4 or 5 day sessions and children are grouped by ability. Beginners are pre-k/kinder and Intermediates are first/second grade level.

Cost per child is $120 for 4-day session and $150 for a 5-day session.
