March was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She moved to New York City to pursue a career in dance before deciding that a career in dancing was not an economically sound career choice. Then while working as a medical assistant she attended night school taking the prerequisites for PT school. March attended SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn and received her BS in Physical Therapy 1988. March’s first job was in a hospital in Brooklyn that was a Cystic Fibrosis Center. In 1989, she began work at the the University Hospital of Staten Island where she became a senior therapist. At the same time, she was also seeing infants, and working at a private PT office as well. March was first introduced to the therapeutic modality called the “Feldenkrais Method®” (FM) in PT school, but when she was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in 1990 she decided to pursue training immediately, and had completed her training by 1994. March just recently moved back to Denver in May of 2022. As a PT, March gets to provide FM to children who might not otherwise have had that experience.  March joined Amaryllis Therapy in February of 2023 as a Physical Therapist.  March@amaryllistherapy.net

Tej Patel

My name is Tej and I am a recent CSU Master of Occupational Therapy graduate. I am here at Amaryllis to complete my last Level II Fieldwork, and I couldn’t be more excited to work with the amazing team here. My passions in occupational therapy are sensory integration and feeding. I love working with kids and am excited to work with kids as an occupational therapist one day. I love their natural curiosity and enthusiasm about life.  Before starting my OT journey, I was an international English teacher and loved to travel to different countries to teach kids and adults.  I love living in Colorado and enjoy trail running, and hiking and being out in the mountains. I love to cook and to eat. I am an amateur gardener but I am learning. I am an aunt to my awesome 14-month-old niece…and a great Alaskan malamute.  Something I am proud of: I really struggled with ESL classes when I first moved to the US, but I was nominated to speak at graduation, and I delivered my speech in front of 300 people, in English.
